US e-bike sales

Does anyone have a link to, or information about, e-bike makers rankings by sales in the U.S.?

By units sold, or revenue...

historical sales data is available by industry segment and region i.e. Europe had X sales of ebikes, Asia/Pacific had Y, and North America had Z. Have not seen brand ranking research.

Very interesting. Four times as many recumbents as electric bikes! Hybrids eating into mountain bike sales. Comfort bikes seem to have peaked and begun sliding off a bit..

If no one here has specific, by-make, sales numbers for the industry, does anyone know positively that these numbers are not published? In other words, should I keep trying to find this out, or is it not possible?

It just seems like great information to have...

Bicycle Retailer sales this info but how drilled down they get their data, ie "by-make", I do not know.
