UBN Five

Riese & Müller UBN Five has three different gearing options; the touring' has an 11-speed Shimano Deore gearing system, the'silent' an 8-speed Shimano Alfine internal gear hub, and for the first time on any Riese & Müller eBike, a 'singlespeed. What is your experience with riding or owning this new eBike. Which gearing option did you choose. I’m currently riding a Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 for the past 2 years and looking at a possible future replacement. Specialized warranty service has been fantastic so far so wondering how your experience has been with Riese & Müller.

Just talked to my local Riese & Müller dealer and he doesn’t have any UBN Five in stock and he has never even heard of this eBike model. So sounds like it hasn’t been released in the states yet?

This model has been pushed and won't be released in the US in 2023. Perhaps 2024?

I thought this might be a good replacement for my 2.5 year old Turbo Vado SL 4.0. But now I don’t think so. A 2023/2024 Turbo Vado SL will probably be the best choice. Thanks Chris.
