Turning the bike off

I am waiting for my Radrover to arrive (in October!). I have a question regarding the ‘ignition’ switch on the battery. Do I need to turn this off when I stop riding for a period of time or overnight, or can I just turn the bike off using the Mode button? Will it drain the battery if you leave it in the on position? I don’t plan on taking the battery off the bike. Thank you.

You don't have to turn the battery off for a secured overnight stop, the battery drain is negligible. I've left it that way many times (2600 miles). If you're locking up the bike in public, you should turn the battery off because some passing fuckwit could really mess up your rear tire/wheel with the throttle. Also, if you have kids at home it's best not to leave the bike enabled while parked.
