Turn signals

Interesting, but seems overly complex. Just turn signals and a steady light or flashing light with a 3 position thumb switch would be nice, though.

Lots of assumptions that vehicle drivers will see and read what the inventors have attempted to tell them correctly. If you are in enough traffic at night to need turn signals, I’m not sure the way the sequential action is really that clear. If they’d have gone with Mustang-like sequence it would be clearer.

I'm also getting the new Lumos helmet, whenever it gets shipped, but I found these handlebar lights from Pinhead Locks.

You just press on the buttons on the ends to turn them on. When you go to turn just tap the button with your little finger and it flashes yellow. It will eventually turn off the flash by itself or you just press the button again. They are rechargeable. Between these, the Lumos helmet and hand signals, you might stand a chance with cars or trucks behind you.

Ah yeah, Wing Lights...those are pretty legit, cept if you are using your bar ends for mirrors already :p

Motorcycles use a flashing yellow light when they turn. That's what these do. As long as you're using the right hand light to turn right, it's just a signal. If you use the left hand light to turn right, then Darwin's principles will soon remove you from the human gene pool.

When my wife drove behind me a watched my eBike turn indicators were not discernible as to direction from 25m. I’m thinking a modulating light would be a worthwhile solution. My MC turn signals were 18” apart. Rear bicycle light are under 6”. I immediately saw a difference in how traffic responded to me when using modulating lights front and rear.

That's a good idea, though you must be very religious and have a lot of faith that your wife isn't going to knock you off for the insurance money.:D These wing lights certainly seem to be bright enough at night. Not sure about the daytime. My fallback is still hand signals and wild gesticulations.
