I can't find the Turbo Vado SL 4.0 in stock anywhere. I live in the SF bay area. Any idea where to look for them? My local Mike's Bikes has stopped carrying Specialized (apparently, there were acquired by an European firm).

You could ask Specialized to get one from InCycle.

I was told they are essentially the same company. You should be able to get one shipped and set for testing without having to pay a deposit.

Ken's Bike & Ski in Davis has them in stock, if you want to take a little drive. What size are you looking for? Have you considered a slightly used bike? LMK

Did you go to the Specialized web page for the particular model Vado SL you are looking to find? Go to the page, select the size and color you are trying to find. Do this even if there is a line through the size or color or there is a box with "out of stock online" on the page. Select the "Find in Store" option and input your zip code and activate the search. This searches the distributed shop inventories and will show the distance from the zip code to the various shops. If the color is not available it will let you know if the size is available but in a different color. There appears to be three different inventories, one for the shops to order, one for direct online order and one for the shop inventory.
