Turbo Como power failure

2021 Turbo Como 3 650B. Purchased 7/11/21. From the beginning, power would randomly shut off while out on a ride. If I powered off, then back on, it went back to normal until the next time. This happened once every other ride or so, but sometimes it wouldn’t fail for 2-3 rides. On 7/6/24 it totally quit and left me stranded 10 miles from home. It’s been in and out of the shop 6 times since. They replaced the tcd unit, then the battery harness, then the motor, then the battery cradle, reorganized wires inside frame moving connection points from near the head tube where they were “too crowded” down near the crank where there is more space. 5 times I picked it back up from the shop and it seemed to work….. until I got it home. Specialized covered the parts and most of the labor on warranty as a “goodwill gesture”. Fair enough but they didn’t fix the bike. Most recently, It appeared to be fixed until I put about 40 miles on it, then failed again. “No motor-No battery flashes on the screen”. Took it back to the shop the next day, back to normal.
I’ve run out of patience with specialized and the dealer. A bike with <700 miles on it can’t be fixed. I asked the dealer for a refund or a new bike but they refuse. Same with specialized rider care. They point the finger at each other.
What would you do? What would you expect?

On mine, there was lately a random shutting off, a couple times. Where the battery connects with the bike, the male and female portion, I adjusted the female portion so it would connect with the male portion in a better fitting manner. No more quitting. When installing the battery, it is kind of a weird fit, it doesn't drop straight in, more like a 45 degree. That appears to me may cause a tendency to spread the female portion of the connection if not done in the most efficient manner, and then the random connection. hth

There's also those teeny weeny little wires they use in the motor compartment. I tied those up so they wouldn't move around.

Is yours a similar Como?

My wife has a 2 year old Turbo Como 3. A similar issue has occurred on hers but only 2 or 3 times. Unfortunately, she only has put about 400 miles on her bike. In her case the issue occurs when first turning it on. Bike appears to power up properly but there is no pedal assist when you start riding. Cycling the power resolves the issue. I did notice the last time it occured that the cadence sensor was stuck at 0.
I have a 2022 Tero 3 with 3000 miles. The issue has occurred on my bike as well but only twice.
Maybe it is a related issue to yours.
