Trying to decide between Sun Seeker EZ3 HD and Eco Tad Trikes

I am a 185 pound 47 YO male with a spinal cord injury - can walk but only short distances, balance and strength not great. Need some Trike feedback. I have previously owned a non-electric EZ3 (2006 to 2011) and liked it but found my trip max was 2-4 miles. Excited to go electric. I just purchased a Liberty Trike and returned it because I found it very tippy and the crank in an uncomfortable position with no gears. So please tell me what you think? EZ3 is heavier but more gears and a more upright seat. The Eco tad is 25 pounds lighter with two wheels in the front and a more laid back seat is interesting to me but how stable is it? Found one used for $600 I am considering. Thanks so much!!!!!

I bought a Sunseeker Fat-Tad from Electric Trike. I found the stock seating position not to my liking. I made new brackets to pitch the seat back. Upright position made me feel too uncomfortable while pedaling. Also in stock position, it felt like I was sliding out. I could not believe the difference in muscles used on a tad pole trike. I had to install 160mm cranks instead of the stock 170. The 170 cranks went from feeling a compression in my gut, to an almost hyper extended knee. My main reason for the Fat-Tad was the full suspension. It's not a great suspension, but way better than rigid. Amazing how rough it rides on gravel rail trails. You've got 3 tires, you can not avoid everything! I don't have any trouble getting in or out, but it takes strength. With your butt angled backwards, you have to sit upright, then lift out all your weight with your legs. You can lock the wheels, but the handles on the side aren't great to use to lift out. Definitely sit in one and ride it before buying. They aren't cheap! I have 270 miles on mine now. If finally feels comfortable and I enjoy the ride. I'd still like to get taller gears for a faster ride. Right now I run out of leg rpm at 14.5mph and have to use the throttle only for more speed.
