Trip Reset on Vado 2

The user documentation says that the trip odo and hours will be reset every time you power up the bike. Mine never worked that way, so I called Specialized to see if I was doing something wrong. They said no, that the bike must be defective, and told me to take it to my dealer for service.

When I picked it up from the dealer, they told me that you press + and - at the same time to reset the trip odometer, contrary to what Specialized said.

Is this how everyone else's works?

Mine reset every time the bike powered up until I updated the firmware. Now it resets press + and -.

It's unsettling to know that firmware updates will impact the UX without any documentation or notice.

Thanks for the heads up! I just purchased a Como 3.0 and the trip odo was not resetting when powering off the battery...I tried pressing the + and - buttons and it worked!!
