Too much for the Raleigh. Is end of season.. 2.5 for R.
Trek is disqualified- only 20mph.

Raleigh.

Faster: 28mph vs 20mph
Better motor: Bosch 350W Performance Speed vs Bosch 250W Performance Line

and cheaper.

Everything else looks very similar.
Actually it’s supercommuter +8s

3.2k for Trek.

Had old gen.3 motor, small 500watts battery.
The Lower but decent price you and others are willing to pay, the more you force the big companies to keep the prices low !
Otherwise all these nice ebikes will be five grand and UP .

Another vote for the Raleigh Redux IE with the 28 mph motor... ask for a larger end-of-season discount. ;)

The problem is in Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, no one carries one so I can’t ask for a discount. So I should wait and see what the 2020 one is like.

What are you looking for in ebikes? What's your criteria? Do they have to be Trek or Raleigh? if not, there are tons of similar bikes out there.
I want a bike that can be serviced locally. I also might get a specialized. There is a store a Mike away from me.

Are you sure its a +8s, I see they're on sale for $5000, mine goes at least 28 MPH and and has a 500 watt package. If you can get that for $3600 thats an awesome deal.

LBS lists new SC8 for $4100...and that’s a great deal...$3600 no brainer

Are you sure you do not want suspension? If not certain consider taking either bike for a long test ride before you buy.

The Raleigh Redux iE is a better Class 3 bike with a 28 mph speed motor for $3500... ;)
