Trek Rig a good candidate?

We have 2 Radrovers and a Radwagon and have to say ebikes are a game changer.

I have my ole Trek Rig and was thinking of putting it up for sale but then was wondering if bikes like that are a good candidate for an ebike conversion? I searched around a little and honestly couldn't get a feeling one way or another.

It's a Hardtail 29er single gear with an XL frame.

It’s good but about 1.5k for the components maybe 2k for good components.
And it would not be like a new ebike. And you would have to provide the warranty either by fixing it yourself or paying someone.

The first thing I look for on any donor bike candidate I'm considering is disk brakes. That may have something to do with some of the hills in the area, especially the ones with stop signs at the bottom.
