Took a spill in some sugar sand while riding on Fire Island (doh!!)

Might be a good idea to put the phone away to keep both hands on the handlebar.

I'm also seeing more and more cyclists ride without hands as they are texting. When I get really close to them, I ring my bike bell and funny to see them alarm and almost lose control of their pretty bike

Ya you paid the price for that though I am not sure I would call it much. more falling over. no blood no damage just fall down and go boom.
