Thinking of upgrading from Purion to Kiox or Nyon

Does anyone know of any guides on how to do it?
With the retrofit kit for both of these available, I was thinking of upgrading to something which gave me more info.
Also, does anyone know the difference between the old Nyon and the 2021 model?

Dont go to the Kiox it is an expensive upgrade and mostly you get your watts how much power you use and a better battery info. it can give you heart rate info too. the nyon will let you adjust the assist levels and give you more info at once. you need to go to a dealer for them to run new wires it takes a motor drop to do it. the only Nyon is not supported in the us and you would be lucky to find one. you will still ahve to ahve it installed and since it is not supported a dealer may not want to do it.

they are still hard to find from what I hear. the older ones are a lot bigger. I don't know if you can adjust the assist level with them.

Theres a few old ones around - I prefer the form factor of those to be honest but Im not sure if I’ll miss any functionality as I can’t find any new vs old comparisons anywhere!

Just ordered new Nyon from my LBS. Upgrading from Purion to Nyon on a 2019 Domane+. LBS expects delivery of the units in 1st half of MAR. Will keep this thread updated.
