The UK press is pushing the story that Musk told Trump he could turn down Starshields speed limit, this is just bolox, like they didnt know you could do that.
Then its Musk has turned Starlink back on...it was never switched off and has no overlap with Starshield.
Starlink is limited to 150mph except for airliners.

Its just fib after fib from every side, government, media.

Just like the Roadster PR event, everything is becoming showmanship, fluff, nonsense and deceit...but it works.
 
Well, except the states aren't the whole world. Yes, EV sales in the US are down in 2026 mostly because there are so few available.

But I challenge you to find other countries where EV sales are down. This just shows how backward and uncivilized the USA is in 2026.

Domestic EV sales are down something like 16% in China.

Completely different story there of course, where EVs have almost 70% market share and gas car sales are down even more. Besides, the Chinese companies can focus on growing their export markets (up something like 160% last I saw), now that they've had time to fine tune their products in their mature domestic market.

We tried looking at used and new EVs. Lots of ID.4's and Ioniq 5's around - both hard no's for us. Used Bolts are marked up several grand from the end of 2025. Dealers only stock loaded new Bolts so the new ones are $35-40k, and at that price there are other options.

The local Toyota dealer 'buys' its RAV4 PHEVs to use as a service loaner for one day and then 'sells' it back to themselves so they can list it as used at above MSRP and keep their pipeline of new PHEVs full.
 
Unrelated, but the Progress Camp of Poland (not any organisation but just a description) was declaring the share of LGBT+ in the Polish society as high as 30% in 2014. Bullshit but I knew what would happen next. 2015 and the thieving nationalists who claimed to be the Right took the power for eight next years, using the "gay fear" as one of the driving forces to win both Parliament/Senate and Presidential elections.

So much for the percentage of.

In the same 2014, I recorded a song by name "(Not A) Communist". It described the past Communist oppression and compared it to "new prophets who want to take the freedom from you". Ironically enough, I was accused for supporting the nationalist party by Antifa.

I've always found it very strange about how the New Right is so vehemently anti-LGBTQ+ while so many prominent figures in that movement are also gay. And when you listen to interviews some of those people have odd (often very odd) views on sex and sexuality. Bluntly you are a weirdo if you care too much about what is going on in other people's underpants.
 
I dont believe there is a lgbt community, one quick look at reddit and there is a large backlash against trans in the gay community

It is a distraction to divert attention from economic issues such as the wealth gap and things like climate charge. All the things that actually matter. Like a magician's trick, look over here, and not what I am really doing. It is to stir up hate and direct it from where it really should land.
In the town of Sonoma the school board just used the technique by banning the pride flag to stir hate and misdirect it just before the election. I said, well then put up the Noah's Promise flag.
