Whenever someone uses the fact that someone else is doing bad things to deflect and avoid admitting THEY are doing bad things, you know they are guilty and dishonest....

The US has more than it's share of missteps, blunders and just plain bad decisions.
But when you factor in the outcome of WWI/WWII and that places such as Ellis Island existed... I think when all things considered, there is no equal and no better. You gotta take the crooked with the straights.

That said.. the current a_hole in charge is doing a pretty good job of negating all.

The USA has a demonstrable majority of ignorant people, many of them in power. Like many ignorant people, they do not realize what they do not know.

Current US policy is on track to make the USA irrelevant. Nobody is paying attention to us anymore or expecting us to do anything useful.
