I have just installed a pair of Tannus Armour 700x42-47C [(42-47)-622] liners with 700x28C-32C tubes, as per the website "https://tannusamerica.com/pages/tannus-faq", into my Giant 700x45C CrossCut Gravel 2 tires..
Now the front wheel went without a hitch.
But the back wheel makes a "sqelching" sound in one spot, goes for about 100mm, one side of the valve stem. as i ride along.
I have unmounted the tyre/liner 3 times, but the noise is still there, approx same spot.
I used talc powder during the install.
I have also tried lower and higher pressures to "seat" everything.
Any ideas what would be causing this, and how to fix?
thanks

Well by now I hope you found the problem of your sqelching" sound...

That being said, I noticed that the beads of my tires was not fully seated when I installed my Tannus Armour inserts.

TIP: I deflated the tires and used Windex glass cleaner to lube the tire bead all around on both sides.
Inflated the tires, and the lube allowed the tire bead to seat perfectly even this time.
(NOTE: Do not exceed the max pressure printed on the side of your tires)

So if your root cause of the "squelching" sound is the tire not fully seated on the rim, then this should help.
