Syncdrive Tiers?

Hey guys,

The Giant site isn't very helpful with this, I'm trying to figure out the differences between the different levels of Syncdrive. I'm fairly sure Core is the lowest at 50nm and Life is next at 60nm? Does that sound right?

I picked up a Roam E+ and I'm a little disappointed with the cheap feeling shifters and brake levers so I am thinking of upgrading to the 2021 Explore E+ (assuming I can find one). It's got a different motor though and I can't tell if it's an upgrade or downgrade. I'd assume an upgrade, but best not to assume at $3100...

Thx

I also have Roam E+, 2021 Explore E+ 2 comes with SyncDrive sport with 70nm so it's an upgrade. I believe you get the same shifter (Alivio) as Roam E+ but different brakes. I like my Roam E+ for what it is from performance perspective. My gripes on Roam E+ are the tires and derailluer, and they are the same on Explore E+ 2.

Thanks. It's a 5 week wait for the Explore so I think I'll just stick with the Roam as I "need" it sooner. I got a nice ride in this morning and I decided I can live with the shifters and brakes for what I'll be doing. The deraileur doesn't seem to like the highest gear, hopefully that can be adusted. My biggest issue right now is that the bars are too low. I'm gonna try to get one of those stems with adjustable height so I can sit more upright. I'm not too proud. lol
