Hey All :
I replaced my faulty 5 Speed Sturmey Archer internal gear hub with an 8 speed. The 8 speed works perfectly, so far, but it is quite noisy compared to the 5 speed. Sounds like a loud fishing reel with quite a bit of "rasp".
I guess that this is a case of "it-is-what-it-is" but are there any greases that would tame the noise down ? Any ideas ?
