Stromer support

Anyone having trouble getting support from Stromer. I've been unable for about a month now to get my Stromer ST2S back on the road because I can't get anyone at their support to help. When I did get a person he said they were understaffed (3 people servicing all of north America). Does anyone know if maybe they are going out of business?

What does your dealer say about your problem? Why are you going directly to Stromer? Bad dealer?

I'm taking my bike to a dealer now, about 2hours away. I have been dealing directly with stromer (mike) since I got my bike. He never suggested that I give to the dealer. He was always really helpful to figure the problem and provide a solution. I had a motor wire problem, pinched front brake line, faulty headlight, faulty omni computer and other stuff and it was all solved over the phone. They never told me I had to go to a dealer. Anyway I guess there are changes only I wish they would just say so. I just noticed similar situation on your blog. Thanks....jim

Ideally, customers should deal with the dealers. Most manufacturers are focused on other aspects of their business and hence rely on dealers to support and service the bikes. A good dealer is there to support their customers so they don't have to go to a manufacturer for help.

I would recommend working with the dealer you purchased the bike from as they are supposed to be the trained experts. If they run into issues then the manufacturers are there to assist them.

The Stromer team are great but don't have a huge staff to answer questions all day just like many other companies do.

hope this helps.

With the Stomers there are no updates other than the one's pushed remotely on bikes equipped with the OMNI system.
