Stromer ST1 S 2016 vs Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0 2018

I am new to eBikes but have done a lot of research on what I think I would like. I am mainly looking for something that would be fun to ride and get some exercise (I am 51), I think I would like to be able to get to the 27 mph speed but will mostly only be on paved trails. I started out looking at the RadPowerBikes Rad City for cost reasons. Then road a Stromer ST1 Elite and then a Specialized Vado 6.0 because they didn't have any 3.0s to test. Then as always I look at nicer bikes that cost more money. I found a new 2016 Stomer ST1 S online but can't test it out and I am thinking the Specialized Turbo Vado 3.0 would be a good choice as well. The Stromer is a heaver bike and older technology but pretty fast hub drive. The Specialized is better balanced and new with better technology. I am really looking for any of you to help me make a decision or even recommend some other bikes to check out. Thanks in advance for any advice.
