Hello,
I originally had a 52T chainring (130 bcd) on my Stromer, which I upgraded to a 54T (SRAM x-sync) to help with 2 separate issues
(a) the chain kept popping off with a 52T chain-ring and
(b) I routinely found myself spinning out
The LBS suggested upgrading to a 54T chain-ring to fix both issues and it certainly helped, but it can be better.
The primary issue I am still facing is the chain popping out, especially when I am riding over a bump at speed. I am less bothered by the spin out, but do feel I could use some room there.
Is a 56T chain-ring a realistic option here, is it the chain itself that is the problem?
Thanks!
