Stromer chargers - issues and replacement

Hi guys and gals, curious if any of you have had any issues with your battery charger? I have an ST1 Platinum from 2015 with only mild usage (once per week during Spring and Summer). My charger fan has just died, and when I came back to the charger it was very hot and there was a burning smell. Questions:

1) Do you think I still might try continue using the charger with an external fan of some sort?
2) What is the best option for replacement?
3) Have any of you bought a replacement and if so where?
4) Has anyone bought a third-party or is an OEM necessary?

I owuld not use it if your smelling burning. if you had fixed the fan then that would be one thing but it sounds like it overheated

Overheating might damage other parts in the charger. Other fan is good, but place the whole stuff somewhere, where a fire does not damage too much.

Maybe, you find a used ST1 charger in the internet.
