Thanks ..yes a game changer for sure . I realize the motor speed is a dif issue. I just find that when my bike is going downhill on pavement often if I want to pedal , the cadence is too high and it hurts my knee. I'm presuming if I get a bigger chain ring on , I can pedal more slowly at speed. I guess I just needed confirmation that some mountain bikes have chain rings that are not conducive to this use. I wonder if all Neo mtn bikes have a 42 t ring and if changing it has a significant downside .
