Sticky Regen2 mode when braking?

Recently my ST1 has started to stay in Regen 2 mode after releasing the rear brake lever about 50% of the time. It'll stay in that mode until I hit the brake again or tap.

Any suggestions on how to diagnose or repair this? Is it something I have to get repaired at the dealer or a DIY fix?

I'm not familiar with that issue. I did have my bike in regen mode, but I did that myself. It kind of sounds like your cutoff switch is sticking, but I'd check with your LBS to double check

Only time I have had this was after the lever took a hit. When my mech worked on my brakes for a leaking caliper in gen he ordered replacement from Stromer and brake company and took what ever got there 1st . It was easier/quicker to get the complete brake assembly (handle to caliper) then to get the one part. Can you reproduce and if you pull and release quickly does it go away?

I noticed this issue on warm and dry weather and after cleaning and greasing the linchpin on the brake lever it worked absolutely fine.

I can reproduce it fairly easily, I bought some contact cleaner and gave it a liberal shot. I'll let it work in to see if it makes a difference.
