SRAM NX 11-spd derailleur on SL 4.0

Does the 11-speed NX derailleur that came on a 2024 Vado SL have a lever or button or whatever that locks it into the extended position? I didn't see anything but at the time I was trying to fix something in an inconvenient place on a hot day and wasn't in a position to take a closer look.

Tilt the cage towards, push the lock button and lean the cage against the locking pall. When you tilt the cage forward again the lock will release

Thanks. I found it a couple hours ago when I had the bike on my work stand. A lot easier in good light and quiet surroundings compared to where I was yesterday when my chain dropped (another curious story that I'll post in another thread).

For the dropped chain, get a proper high low chainring for single-11 use or get the sl1 chaincatcher for the Creo SL (you will need some spacers to mount it correctly) like I did.

My partner has a 10 speed Shimano drivetrain (was produced a few months earlier) and never dropped her chain, while my Sram NX 11 skipped the chain of a few times prior to the chaincatcher

I don't know what a "high low chainring" is (same as a narrow-wide maybe, which the bike already has?). I'll look into the chain-catcher.

The problem now is that the chain will go right off the chainring in two or three rotations of the crank if it's in any of the two or three largest cogs! I don't know what I could have done on my ride to cause this because it hadn't ever happened before and I have 750 miles on it. I took it to the bike shop and one of their drivetrain specialists couldn't figure it out. It's possible that the chainring might be slightly warped, but it's very slight and again how did that happen? They're going to have the head mechanic look at it when he comes in later this week.

The bolt thats through the drive unit. You would need to either fidle through the chainring with long tools or take the chain ring of the spider
