Specialized Aethos 54 - best ebike motor

I got a used Specialized Aethos 54 bike recently. It's an all carbon frame. What is the best ebike motor for use with Aethos

A bike like that - the motors in your legs to be honest.

Katrina might have a motor ready in a year or two

Seriously though, I don't think you'd really want to hang a mid drive from that frame, and a front hub would ruin the handling. I think there may be 1 or two options for a rear hub that fits road spacing or you could go with a friction drive which just seems like a shame on a pretty frame like that.

You would kill that bike by electrifying it. Physically.
If you are as loaded as to buy yourself an Aethos, you can certainly afford a proper road e-bike.
