Yes, going on 35 years as a PCA member... Air-Cooled forever! ;)

I did 2 PPI's on 2 air cooled 911s back when my kids were still little and was close to pulling the trigger. Was on Rennlist, and I forgot the other Porsche sites back in the day. It was my dream car. I ended up finally getting a Porsche but all I could afford was the Macan:(

is not that hard , is just that very few would spend the time for doing that.
Huge ring (double conception ?? i cAn't tell the size), just draft in the back of the rocket and make sure to spin .
Real cyclists draft behind team cars at 90-100mph all the time in many of the bigger races.

A faster car or rocket , a faster cyclist😉. 300mph would be something else...

30 mph on a downgrade in PAS 5 on a smooth road is good for me. I cant believe I used to drive thru the desert in a Hare Scramble in 6th gear at 60 not knowing what was over the next mound. My next crash will be my last...

I believe the unassisted (no drafting, flat road, no elec assist, etc) bicycle speed record is something like 89 mph. My youngest son helped design, build and race similar bikes while a mech engineering student;

They would race a level mile long straight course in northern Nevada each year for the collegiate speed record. This record was in the mid-60mph range a dozen years ago when the unlimited class record broke the 80 mph record. Their bikes were required to have 3-point harnesses, roll bars and abrasion resistant kevlar around the 'pilot'. Crashes were frequent and exciting, but no injuries in the years our son competed.

Excellent... My EBR member ID is the same on Rennlist. Congrats on the Macan! ;)

Oh, you lucky devilll. My dream machine. When I was looking back in the early 2000's you could stlll get a deal on an air-cooled 911. That ship has sure sailed. What year is your chariot?

I hear you brother... the air-cooled prices tripled over the last decade.
I have the last year of the 993 series, 1998 C2S split-grill.
Thank goodness Ebikes are a cheaper hobby! ;)
