Sick Momentum Upstart

I have a Momentum Upstart, which has been brilliant. I am 75years old, and earlier this year the bike stopped working. The battery is fully charged and holding the charge, the display comes on when switching on, but there is no drive to the motor. The supply wire to the motor is intact with no damage. I haven't been able to find anyone to help. I live on the Isle of Wight. Can anyone help?

My first thought was it might be a cadence sensor issue. A quick look at the bike and notice this pedelec bike is a torque sensor bike. Cool looking, minimalistic bike, by the way.

Not knowing anything about the bike I would still look at the (torque) sensor and make sure all connections are clean, connected and correct. It sounds like a typical communication error. Just a guess though.

Well your age is not an issue. I would check the motor inhibitor switches in the brake handles.
Most bikes will let you do that by unplugging them.

Looking at the specs and photo, it doesn't appear to have motor inhibitor brakes.
