Shipping Stromer, packing crate? MN to FL

Hi, I'm hoping to ship my Stromer from MN to FL but my Serfas case is too small for what I want to do.
My plan is to:
- remove only front wheel and battery which can ride down to FL in car trunk. This will also allow much less weight for shipping, much less packing box, and removing the battery from shipping helps as that damn battery kills most shipping deals.

- I'd want shipping box that would hold the ST2 with no front wheel-- but little takedown needed. Lower seat. Turn bars sideways.
Bike is low profile, resting on front fork. Rear wheel left intact.

I believe Stromer boxes are way too big---both wheels left intact, so big box.
Like to find a stock bike delivery box (cardboard or ??) that dealers would just toss.

Any suggestions on what brand bike/ what model might have a smaller shipping box but most heavy duty?
Could be from an ebike or a regular bike.

I removed the battery for weight and haz shipping fees. They do have a question asking if a battery is included and can account for it.

did you get Ebike shipper or aircaddy box?
They say ebike box requires:
However, unlike our Aircaddy® bicycle container, the reduced size of the eBike Shipper™ requires a more complete disassembly of the bicycle. If you're going to take the front wheel and battery in a car, why not the bike too? The cost of the shipping plus the container will go a long way toward the cost of a suitable bike rack.

I agree. If I'm driving, the bike(s) would be on a rack. The advantage I see of shipping in one of those boxes, it that would allow me to fly...

I see the larger box as the plan for one of my bikes. The idea of reassembling the rear wheel on a DD bike in a Hotel/Motel parking lot doesn't sound very appealing. I suppose though, you go the deluxe plan and have it shipped to a local bike shop who could not only reassemble, but they could hang on to that expensive box for the bike's return trip home?

It's my wife's car and she doesn't want a trailer hitch mounted---for the better bike racks.
Last time, my mountain bike fit nicely in the back seat with front tire removed and upside down.
Dealer thinks Stromer is too big for that----Honda Accord 2018.

What portable bike racks would be suitable, but she may not even want that? For 60 lb bike?
And I'd want to wrap the entire bike in cellophane too----hate that winter road salt crap

If you were to get the bike stuffed into the Accord, would your wife be happy with the amount of luggage she could get in with it? Would you be OK with said luggage on top of your bike?

I haven't seen a strap on rack I would use to carry my e-bike.

A Stromer can fit in an Accord. We fit mine in my wife's Mazda2, albeit for a short ride.
Just depends on how much other stuff you are needing to bring, but the bike will fit (assuming 2018 accords have fold down rear seats)

I was asking about fitting directly behind the front seat, where rear passengers would have their feet/knees.
the front wheel removed and stored in trunk. The bike frame and rear wheel are upside down and handlebars turned 90 degrees, resting directly behind front seat.
My roadbike was often transported like this.

Are you talking about full bike and transported in trunk/ into the rear seat area??

Remove front wheel, toss bike in trunk/back seat. In a wagon, you might be able to leave the front wheel on. I've always owned small cars and couldn't for the most part.
Never tried the other way, could fit depending on how big your back seat is, I guess.
Play around and see how it fits. Ebikes are harder to throw around due to weight - careful with your back! Taking battery out helps a little.
