You probably need a shim. For example, here's a link to a Redshift suspension seat post: https://redshiftsports.com/products/shockstop-suspension-seatpost?variant=28601098469455
Note that when you click on "need a seat post shim?" one of the options is a 30.4mm shim (the Redshift seat post has a diameter of 27.2mm).
Most seat post manufacturers give you the option to purchase a shim to fit your bike's seat post tube.

I believe when you order from Aliexpress and order the 30.4, they automatically send you the shim...

I brought a suspension seat post that was too thick and filed it down to fit, only to find it wasn't doing the job for me.
I ended up with one of these:
I must say I am pleasantly surprised by how effective it is. It's very adjustable, so you can set it for whatever spring you want.

I have had good luck with both the Kinekt and Redshift seatposts…just buy a shim to make either one work.
I would apply a little grease to the outside of the shim before inserting it into the bike’s frame; could aid in removal later, if necessary.
