Trying to get an ebike light enough to haul into the RV, or the back of a car. Have an older Blix, 65 lbs, too heavy.
Bought a Gotrax Shift S1. Light an cheap. Turned right around and sold it. Did not work for me. 1) front hub motor was squirly, pulling when going from a standing start on a hill. 2) One fixed gearing. Not high enough for starting out, or up hill, not low enough for flat or down. Need 5 or 7 speed.
But what else is there at a good price that is light and foldable? SDREAM UR500X seems to fit the bill. A bit more power / battery, a decent display. Is this company real? Is this model any good?
