Scorpion X rim size

I have a new scorpion X it has 20 X4.5 stock tires I want to swap out the stock for shinko knobbie tires. A lot of scoripion owners on a Facebook group I belong to tell me that Shinko's 3.00 X 16 will fit my rims. Anybody have 3.00 X 16 on their Scorpion X. I'm a newbie and don't know anything about tires or rims
