I did post this earlier on another form in here. I apologize I cannot figure out how to delete that one. Anyway this is what I have at this point. Hopefully next month I will be purchasing my rear 1000w. System and a 20 amp hour lithium battery pack. I am integrating a 12-volt motorcycle battery in the middle of the frame which still allows me to Pedal. This will run my LED headlights blinkers brake lights and parking lights. I have already installed the blinkers I used a 3-way toggle switch for the controller. For the brakes I simply added a returnable toggle switch at the disc brake arm. I will also be adding a headlight to the front fenders that I am building right now. I will be installing smooth head bolts so it doesn't look so tacky and also painting it to match the bike

Hi David.

If you will have a 48 volt, 20 amp hour lithium-ion battery, why not wire in something like a 48v to 12v step down converter?

That one is a quality waterproof unit, but there are others available, some smaller, depends on the power needs to run your accessories. It would be a lot lighter than a motorcycle battery and having one battery to charge would make life with your ebike easier.

@J.R. you are always helpful, thank you for that. I have tested the electric system with the 12v and it will need to be charged probably every 3 months. The LED system I have on it takes very little wattage. And as you know I'm still learning how to do all this stuff. But I'm enjoying it as I go. I've already got all my wires ran and everything set up, I did that later today. As always thank you for you're knowledge!

Update on the front fender, other than getting some screws. To fix it permintly its done.

Be careful about drilling random holes in bicycle components. You defeat the engineering of the part and introduce a stress area that can now crack.

Good point @rich c , I drilled very small screw holes in the fork support. The bike is used to go to town on paved roads. 3-1/8" holes on top, and one on eitherside.
