Romove throttle?

i was wondering if it was possible to remove my throttle from my igo M29r. If so is it an easy modification that I may be able to do myself. Being that it is illegal to have a throttle where I live and I hardly use it any way I would just like to have it as a peddle assist bike.

Is your throttle just a throttle or does it have a switch on it as well? Should be easy to trace the wiring back to the controller and then unplug it to see it the cadence sensor still works. If you are nervous about trying it, I'd contact the dealer or factory first. I've never done it, so can't be certain about the controller software.

I don't see any switch. It's a trigger throttle by the left hand grip. I think I'll just take a ride to the shop and see what they think. Thanks.

You should be able to look closer and trace the wire from the throttle and pull it apart at the connector (to temporarily disable it) or you can subsequently remove the hardware from the handle bar if you want to.
