Riese Muller Tinker with active plus motor

I am considering buying a Riese & Muller Tinker. I noticed that they have changed the motor from performance line cx to active line plus this year (and performance line cruise for Europe). Would this be a significant downgrade in hill climbing ability and overall experience? I hope some tinker vario silent owners could give me a short review.

Here in Seattle, the difference is very noticeable. I find the Tinker Silent a bit underwhelming compared to the CX Vario and not powerful enough for particularly hilly cities personally, but I encourage you to test ride one for yourself if you're able.

Also worth noting the Tinker is currently the oldest model in the lineup and is due for a major overhaul.
