replacing st2 rear brake sensor

Not much to find specific for Magura MT2/4

I can't seem to get into the service menu and was told that this is caused by a faulty brake sensor. However, the tech mgr. at Stromer tells me that if I can get into regen mode that the brake sensor is working just fine. So I confused.
