Replacing 2018 Levo Motor

Hi, a friend of mine replace his 2018 Levo with new motor - purchased from bikeinn. After installing the new motor, MC and Blevo cannot detect the motor. Any thougths guys?

Since it's not clear from your statement the bike does or does not work, it might need the dealer software to link the motor, battery and TCU together? My wild guess is the battery has the motor serial linked. Or dig for clues in the support site.

The bike does turn power on.
After power on, both mission control or blevo, cannot detect the presence of the new motor. The new motor won't give any assist.

I just know this now, do we did to link them together? "dealer software to link the motor, battery and TCU together" and "the battery has the motor serial linked"

Another friend of mine had replaced with new internal battery on his bike - it was just plug and play. Did not involve any programming.
