Removing a Shimano Steps E6000 right side crank.

Hello!

I am attempting to install an on bike charging port/battery mount on my E6000 equipped bike. The left non-drive side looks conventional. The drive side looks convenny until I lift the crank. Then there is a nut that must be removed to drop the motor cover. Motor cover needs to be removed to route/access the cable port.

You need a special tool to fit the Shimano lock ring... see below.

Yes, I was hoping a cold-steel chisel and 5lb hammer would be appropriate. Those adapters are $67. I'll just take the battery off and charge it. Thanks!
