I came across a huge supply cell-protected, 3.7 volt Li-Ion batteries for dirt cheap, (10 bucks for 100 batteries) and they are all good. So I want to use them to make a custom battery pack for an ebike. The issue is, 3.7 volts doesn't multiply neatly to 24 or 48 volts... I could stack 8 batteries in series to get to 29.6 volts (which I think would be favorable due to the ease of finding a cheap 29.6 volt charger). The problem is that it's impossible to find a motor that runs at 29.6 volts.
Is there a light weight module or regulator that can help me control output of the battery pack to 24 volts?
