Recommendations for 2019 Rad Rover replacement battery?

Hey everyone! I’m new to this forum, so thanks in advance for your help! I purchased a used 2019 Rad Rover (since new ones are out of stock) and, unfortunately, the battery stopped working after about a mile. It had fully charged and just went to zero :-(. The previous owner admitted to not taking care of the battery (keeping it charged), so my fear it that it is ruined. I would 1. Appreciate any advice on how to rehab the battery and 2. Get recommendations for a replacement battery—the proprietary Rad ones are out of stock. I called Rad and understand they have a proprietary battery tray, so I’ll need to replace that and the connector. I’m basically looking for a reliable replacement battery/tray that will be relatively simple to swap. I see a lot of options online but I see dubious reviews out there. I’d also prefer to do this Plug and Play without having to solder a new connector, but I’m not sure this is possible. Thanks!

There are companies that rebuild batteries. You may be able to search this forum or Google, to find out who. Batteries are hazmat to ship, so that complicates things.

I'd be interested to see if you get any recommendations on replacements other than from Rad itself. I feel certain you will be doing some soldering if you do find anything you feel like trusting. Be really careful -- it's too easy to get a battery assembled with cheap cells or BMS.

In the meantime, it might be worth ordering one from Rad. I'm sure they'll let you cancel it if you do so before it ships. That may be your quicker, safer, option.

Did you check voltages on the battery and charger with a multimeter? Worth doing some troubleshooting to get it right.
