Some ebikers have experienced terrific customer service. That service may have come via a brand's dedicated tech support line or email, through a local bike store (LBS), or through a brand's local dealer, or some combination of these. Please share your stories of great customer service here!

Your story may already have a happy ending, or may be a story of excellent-service-in-progress. Whatever the case, we look forward to reading it.

Let's enjoy reading some good news, and give kudos to those who have done a great job with warranty or other service to keep our ebikes in great shape! :)

First ride on my giant full e pro the front sprocket snapped. The " local" bike store was an hour away so I emailed pics on the weekend, by the time I called Monday morning they had already convinced giant to cover the damage under warranty but more importantLy the lbs agreed to replace the parts with an arguably better race face sprocket ( and absorb the cost themselves) - impressive service from both giant and the lbs.

Not ebike specific, but I've also had a lbs spend an hour trying to fix a leaking tubeless set up on a new bike - no charge, even though the bike was technically sold with tubes ( they had done the tubeless conversion for free as a courtesy , so I didn't consider that to be warranty work) . Same dealer has recently spent hours trying to source a replacement shock on my 6 year old human powered bike - even if they got the part for free, they'd struggle to make a proffit given how much effort this has taken!

When the lbs is run by enthusiasts, the customer gets exceptional service imho.

Chelan Electric Bikes is the only Pedego dealer in Eastern Washington. Merick was excellent in getting me set up last year with my Interceptor and has been very helpful in fixing the mercifully few problems I've had since then.

G&O Family Cyclery is and was great and I'm super happy with how my R&M Charger has worked out.

Methow Cycle and Sport is where I take my bikes to get fixed when I've broken them. I've also spent more than my fair share on gadgets and accessories there and a continuous supply of Clif Blocks.

Bike Newport, OR. Is just simply awesome. The fact that they have laundry, showers, and wi-fi for bike tourists (free as long as you buy something) is even more awesome. The fact that that something you buy can be a nice pale ale is still more awesome. Oh, and they can help fix your bike and/or sell you bike stuff (or even whole bikes) as well.

After owning my Pedego Platinum Interceptor for three weeks, the motor started cutting out intermittently. Since my pedego dealer is located 3 hours away, I contacted Pedego tech support via email. They replied within 4 hours and asked some specific questions about the problem. They diagnosed it as a defective motor controller and shipped a replacement to me the same day. They provided instructions which made the repair very easy with the job taking less than 15 minutes.

The replacement controller solved the problem but since it is a newer version, it's programming did not match the one in my wife's Interceptor. The speed settings for the various PAS levels did not match, making it difficult for us to ride in sync. Pedego sent a new controller for her bike as well at no charge! Thanks Pedego!

Sleek eBikes in Tarrytown NY (www.sleekrides.com) quickly replaced my upper battery mount when it broke and even found a broken spoke that I hadn't noticed. They replaced that as well as quickly as they could (parts were hard to get from Magnum). I recommend them to anyone interested in an e-bike and will purchase my daughter's e-bike from them.
