Rain

I’ve had my Hyper e-bike for a full month and really, really like it! I’ve emailed Hyper Bikes my question twice without any response thus my entry to this forum. I’m headed to the beach for 2 weeks and as always, am aware that a shower of rain can come up at any time. What precautions are necessary with an e-bike due to rain showers?

Plastic bag over the throttle, if you have one. Plastic bag over the display if you have one.
Controller has to have a drip loop underneath if any external wiring higher up. I omitted on my last installation & burnt a pin off the controller as a result. With controller hidden in frame, you may no know how rain resistant the controller & battery are. I have a drip loop on my battery too, to keep rain away from the connectors.

Thanks, very helpful.
