RadRover firmware update?

I see from other posts there is a newer firmware for the RadRover that makes the PAS operate different.

Is the firmware on our 2016 models user upgradable?

I have a RadMini, and asked Rad Power Bikes about upgrading it. They said they would upgrade the controller for $25. I had to ship it there, but they shipped it back.

I have both the new and old firmware.

I'm still mixed thoughts about the new firmware - more so the battery life with consistent power usage. But yes - they will update your firmware for $25 if you ship to them.

I only got mine for free because of warranty issue (controller pumping 50v to my headlight with headlight OFF and only 10v to headlight when headlight ON. Should be 0v off, 50v on)

I decided to wait on getting it. I am getting used to the bike with the firmware set based on MPH. I still think setting it based on watts makes more sense though.
