My friend got a rad runner and got this padded battery case, I saw it yesterday and would really like to buy four of them but they are $59 each!

has anyone seen cases like this somewhere else A little cheaper? I have done some searches and come up with nothing

I don't really need the compartment on the top that holds the charger, just a padded case for the battery

It is cool, I was super impressed and think it fits everything, it’s pretty long but it’s a little pricey to buy several of them lol

It looks like the retention batteries would fit in there and I’m thinking the rad rover six is a retention battery but haven’t double checked that

The bag is padded and stiff, holds it shape and you can put the charger in the top compartment and zip it in there

Kudos to rad for getting these made

I will wait and buy some Zen bags lol

I'm not sure of the Rad battery dimensions but I found one to fit my battery here:

I've seen batteries that were damaged during transport and went a step further. I bought this hard shell case from Nanuk which holds 2 batteries and a charger:

Overkill? Maybe, but IMO, it makes sense to spend a few bucks to protect two $700 batteries.

What will you be using it for? If it’s to bring with you on a grocery run or transporting in the car, I find that a larger neoprene wine tote works quickly and effectively.

Hmm I will look at wine totes

I just want the batteries to have some protection in the van, bikes are always loaded with batteries off so they are on the floor of the carpeted van
Plus batteries are awkward to carry so a handle would be nice

That’s one of the things I use it for. It has a handle and I loop a seatbelt through it or attach to one of the accessory hooks in the hatch.
