Quick-E + wheel set: Tubeless Ready???

I’ve gone to 3 different LBSs to seat the bead on my rear wheel. After the last time, I now have a Lezyne overdrive floor pump on the way so I never have to, but each time, they question whether or not it is a tubeless rim to begin with. This latest time, I heard it from a shop that has tons of giant cycles, but admittedly no ebikes.

So what gives?? I’m tired of looking like an idiot when I refute them, but there aren’t any markings on the wheels to indicate that they are in fact tubeless ready. Is there a difference between tubeless ready and dedicated tubeless? I know there is some gray area because you can set up pretty much anything to run tubeless.

I’ve been pretty satisfied with the tubeless performance out of these, but am really tired of defending these wheels and feeling like a chump. Probably gonna upgrade to a carbon set after a while, and will definitely get tubeless again.

Anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!!

I took mine into the LBS to buy tubeless valve stems and some orange seal, and they offered to do the conversion for me at a price of $25. They looked up the tire online and it clearly showed tubeless capable. I let them do the job and it's been flawless since. The Giant website shows the wheelset as tubeless ready, as well.
