Hi guys,
I purchased by ST2 today, way too early to have a real opinion on it after like 50 kms but really love it so far. I've a question about the omni software and related security however.
At home, there is a garage in my building, and people can store bikes at the entrance, I always did this and I'm not too worried about security there. I live in Switzerland, in a pretty quiet suburb, but 100% safety doesn't exist either. I can usually still get enough phone network to continue a phone call when I enter the parking with my car (and so the bike storage place is near the wall, further on you lose network), but it seems my bike lost connection, probably because of the walls. Or could it be because I removed the battery to charge it?
When I go on the app, I can only see where my bike was a few km's before I arrived at home. Is it normal? I at least hope that even with the battery, all the security going with the bike and its app is still active. If someone still it, can I still locate it even when the battery isn't in?

Thanks for the link for the batteries, looks useful... but in a very long time hopefully!
