Protecting the controller?

I am very curious to know if riders use anything to protect their controller from rain? I live in the pacific northwest and get quite abit of rain in winter. Anyone else similar and what do they use to protect the controller? Thanks.

Haha i am such a newb. I now realize the controller is actually near the battery in the downtube? I always thought when “the controller” was used meant the display. I basically want to protect the electrical parts the best I can. We get lots of rain in the winter. Thanks. Btw I have the Ride1up Core-5 if that matters.

I use these stretch silicone bowl covers to protect my displays during inclement weather while riding and especially during transport:

They are transparent & flexible enough to allow button operation.

For protection during transport under extreme conditions, I also use these arm protector sleeves on my bar ends:

Driving for 12 hours in the rain with the bike on a hitch rack can force water into the controls/display. Then a plastic bag and rubber bands is enough,

On hub motor bikes, water has been known to drip down the cable and enter the motor at the axle. For that reason, most of the time, you find the cables leave the motor in a downward direction.
