Anyone know anything about the Prodigy? is it worth waiting for? was thinking about getting a 700 now and wondering if its worth waiting for. not sure i can wait that long..... will be using for road and trail. only 36v battery? is that for weight?

yea, need a bike now but i guess i can relook at it when it actually comes out. looks nice a nice upgrade from the 700. lighter weight and torque/mid drive.

It's not an upgrade to the 700. It's just an entirely different bike.

Plan on it being a 2022 bike.

There's a multi-page thread about the Prodigy on this forum:

From what I see quite a few now have the new Ride1Up Prodigy in their possession. How about some opinions on how you are liking or what you dislike regarding your new machine. To be sure we all took a chance by putting our money up front, waiting a long time expecting a good riding quality machine. We all trust that came to fruition. Mine the (ST) version is due to arrive this Sat the 16th of April. I must say I am excited.

OK, I'm looking forward to your review.

Received my Prodigy ST and have about 20 miles on it. I will say it is everything I expected and more. It was easy to assemble and everything fit well.
The bike with the Brose motor is virtually silent, very powerful and has the nicest smooth natural power delivery of any ebike I have ridden. These three thing are very important to me.
As far as the quality of the bike I couldn't ask for more. The paint is beautiful. No scratches, blemishes that I can see. Ride 1 UP did a fine job on this bike.
