Problems with my new ST1

Hi, I just bought a new ST1. The problem is when I start off it makes quite a bit of noise and there's grinding apparently coming from the motor. Also when going up a steep hill it makes the same noise as well. After the initial noise and I get going the noise goes away. This does not seem right.

Can you post audio or video of the noise? It's normal to have a suble humming noise as the motor increases output at startup and when climbing.

When testing out ebikes, one of the things that attracted me to the ST1 was how quiet it was. If there's much noise of any sort, I'd have the LBS check it out ASAP before there's much chance of damage!

My st1 was silent as an Ebike could be. Not normal!!
