I've got a faulty Darfon E4C0C battery(Atleast it looks to be the problem), the battery shuts itself down after about 15s of being turned on. I'm able to charge and discharge the battery, but always for 15s before it shuts down.
Checked all the cell groups for faulty cells, but they were all okay. So the next option is the that the bms inside the battery is faulty or in some kind of error mode. Unfortunately the battery is made for shimano STEPS system and uses CANBus for communication with the motor, so cant replace the bms with a generic one. Has anyone else had similar issues on Shimano compatible batteries, that use proprietary BMS? Any ideas what could be the issue or where i might be able to source a new bms?

Hopefully the only solution isnt an entirely new battery, maybe ill have to look for a cell faulty one that i could salvage the bms from.
