Problems connecting new Specialized app to Turbo Vado 5.0

Hey all, I've had my Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH for almost two years now. The Mission Control app worked flawlessly for me. The new Specialized app worked well for a bit, but several months ago I started having occasional connection problems, where the app wouldn't connect to the bike. It's gotten increasingly worse, to the point where I almost never can connect. When I try to connect, I get a message that the bike is already connected to another device, and I need to power down and restart my TCU usually 2-3 times in order for the app to finally connect. What a hassle.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Does anyone know how I can fix it? Thanks!
 
The App is not good at all.
Having a similar issue as you, I "forgot" the e-bike in SA and added the bike later. The issue is recurring, so my use of the SA dropped to the absolute minimum.
Interestingly, it is my Vado 6.0 mostly affected, with my Vado SL not affected.
 
Thanks Stefan! While this is annoying, it's somewhat reassuring to know that it's not only me that is affected (so, presumably, Specialized is working on improving the app).
